Overview

Full scholarships for applicants from 29 eligible countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America to attend accredited international study programmes taught in English at Flemish universities or universities of applied sciences and arts in Belgium. Covers tuition fees, travel, insurance, and living expenses (board and lodging) for the full duration of the programme (12/24/36 months).

  • Hold nationality from one of 29 eligible countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America
  • Reside in one of the 29 eligible countries at the time of application
  • Age limit: 35 or younger for bachelor or initial master, 45 or younger for advanced master (as of 1 January of intake year)
  • Bachelor candidates must be at least 19 years old by 1 January of intake year
  • May apply for only one ICP Connect scholarship per year
  • Cannot receive any other scholarship or grant simultaneously
  • May not have previously received a scholarship from the Belgian government
  • May not have enrolled in a Belgian higher education institution before 1 January of intake year
  • Preference given to candidates employed in higher education, government, or civil society
