TWAS offers approximately 100 postdoctoral fellowships in conjunction with nine partner institutions across five countries, providing early-career researchers from developing countries with postdoctoral research experience at top science institutions. Applications are submitted through an online portal and require a preliminary acceptance letter from the chosen host institution.

Applicants may apply for only one programme per calendar year in the TWAS and OWSD portfolio
Applicants may not visit another institution in that year under any other TWAS programme
Applications can only be submitted once the call for the chosen programme is open
